Yakimix in Greenbelt 3, Makati City is the place where I told my family I’d treat them out for dinner while using the money I made purely online. If you haven’t heard of it yet, it’s this super popular buffet restaurant that serves Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisine. I’m not sure where Yakimix got its name from. Maybe “yaki” as in the cooking style of grilling meat and vegetables is combined with “mix” as in the mix of Asian cuisine?
We went to the Greenbelt branch simply because it’s the nearest one to our place.

Upon entering Yakimix, you will be greeted by a vast and finely-decorated space. Papa said he liked the place (and he’s not that easily pleased…) so I guess Yakimix did something right. Either that or we’re just too hungry to observe negatively.

Then again, no one actually really cares about the interior, right? I bet you’re here to look at all the food that Yakimix in Greenbelt 3 had to offer! Therefore, let’s go to the food shots!

We weren’t really planning on eating the cooked food since we wanted to grill meat and vegetables all night long, but our stomachs protested and so we gave in. Here’s a shot of what I got:

Papa and Mama decided to get fruits while my little brother LJ got meat. He was too fast of an eater for me so I wasn’t able to get a picture of his plate. After attacking the cooked food, we proceeded to maki pieces and tempura. Move fast since they run out of these quickly. (They’ll refill, though, so just chill. I was just kidding!)

For dessert, you can feast your eyes on these beauties. Be careful of overloading your plate. Remember that you can always come back. I suggest you get two items first, go to your table, eat, relax for a while and then come back. There’s no rush, Yakimix refills!

If you’re wondering about the current Yakimix Greenbelt 3 buffet price, I’m not going to bother typing all the prices. I mean, why type when I can just post a picture of Yakimix’s buffet price?

Over all, Yakimix is considerably priced for its offerings. You get around 3 hours of free food time and if you’re wise enough, you can really get your money’s worth. Don’t drink a lot of water and don’t get rice – instead, get the expensive pieces and indulge yourself in them.
