Read at least one inspiring book a month.
But wait! Reading? Isn’t buying a book expensive? I thought you were suggesting living wisely? Spending money for buying books is costly!
No.
That is not right. Nowadays, reading can be very cost-free. If you are like me who has a lot of friends, you surely would have thought to trade books with friends! I trade my books with friends. We exchange books for about a month and return them. Now, if you are like me who forgets easily, remember: Return the books after an amount of time. I still have a friend’s book with me so I should remember to return it. 🙂
If you don’t like exchanging books with friends, then you can always try another thing: go to your local library! It won’t be as costly as buying a book. Besides, being in a library with people who want to read is great! No unnecessary noise and such. Just you and the piles of books. That, my friend, is heaven for me.
Now that you’ve gotten that in order, read your book!
Do you read with your loved ones? |
As of this month, I have finished the following books:
– How to Conquer Your Goliaths
– My Maid Invests in the Stock Market…And Why You Should, Too!
– How to Turn Thoughts into Things
– 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich
– Choose to be Wealthy: 8 Habits of the Happy Millionaire
– Simplify and Live the Good Life
I love reading so you have to excuse me for that. I recommend these books a lot as all of these are written by Bo Sanchez, my life mentor. I have not met him personally. The closest I’ve come to meeting him was the exchange of emails that we had. I plan on seeing him, though, when his next seminar will happen.
On this light, read what you think is inspiring! Inspiration is a very subjective term so I would like you to read what appeals to you. Of course, given the subjectivity, I’d like you to mix it objectively, too.
I suggest going to the Motivation, Self-Help or Personal Development sections. Fiction is for entertainment so save it for leisure times.
Reading has truly changed my life, and I suggest that you start reading as well.
After all, your best investment is not in stocks, mutual funds, real estate properties or savings accounts.
