There were four of us – papa, mama, LJ and me – and the rate was around P6,000 per day so we paid a total of P18,000 over all.
For me, it was a good rate because hotels in Singapore are pricey. Mataas ang cost of living sa Singapore. Another thing is we went during December – Christmas season – so you can just imagine how astronomical the prices were.
To give you an idea, hotels with family rooms but with shared bathrooms cost P4,000 already. Hindi pa maganda ang location and privacy isn’t that much observed because you’ll be sharing the toilet.
With the AirBNB apartment we got, we had total privacy because we had the rooms to ourselves. Aside from the kitchen and the living room, we also had rooms of our own.

What I personally loved was that we had a supermarket on the Ground Floor of our building! Nakatipid kami ng pera kasi nag-grocery kami ng tea, bread at fruits para umagahan namin.
The apartment is fully air conditioned and comes with a small balcony. The kitchen is equipped with a small electric stove, kettle and toaster.
It’s also a few minutes’ walk to local eateries and bars around the area.
Aside from the free and fast wifi which I used to watch high-quality episodes of One Piece, we also had access to the private gym and the rooftop swimming pool.
We weren’t able to swim – but we managed to use it for pictures!
