I have just finished reading a book. But then, it wasn’t just a book.
It suddenly changed my views and stirred something in me. I knew that I had to take action. There is this inexplicable sense of urgency in me that I need to handle now.
I knew that this was my “wake-up call”.

I need to take control of my life and learn how to manage my finances. I need to do it now. Because the best time is always now.
Then again…I might do it later in the day. I figured no mutual fund company is open at this early in the morning. No stock market is open at 12 am here in the Philippines, too, right?
I hear the lazy rumble of thunder and the flashes of lightning, coupled with the rain’s drizzle. Everyone is sound asleep right now, except me.
For the past few months, I have tried to take control of my finances. I have a savings account for my long-term savings and an EON bank account for my expenses. I felt very mature and adult-like upon doing so.
It was not until I read Bo Sanchez’s book entitled “8 Secrets of the Truly Rich” that I realized how wrong I was. Because of this book, I decided to learn everything that I can and take action in order to achieve my goals.
