As with what I have read in Brother Bo’s book, 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich, the first thing that I will always remember are his emphases on action. I could not believe how many times he had reiterated that word all throughout the book. Of course, he had a point:
Why wait for another time when you know that the best time is right now?
We alone are responsible for ourselves. We are the author of our lives, with God as the publisher. We are accountable for our actions.

I related to his examples. I could say that some of his scenarios really hit me straight in the gut.
I was once someone who used to blame the government, too. I would hate them, call them foul names, glare angrily at them and mock them. Now, I try not to do that anymore. I can’t blame them for my lack of knowledge in finance. I can’t say that it’s their own fault that my life is not what I want it to be.
I have the same government with the other millionaires in the Philippines, yet they prosper and become richer every day.
What happened?
It was because they decided that they are to be responsible for themselves. They realize the fact that we make our own lives. They took action, and they are willing to answer to it.
Only when we follow their examples will we be able to put a step forward financial freedom as well.
I want to be a go-getter. I don’t want to wait anymore. I am going to do it.
