Mochiko at Tagaytay is a famous establishment so we decided to go there.
You see, my dad is here temporarily so we’re trying on squeezing one trip after the other. He will only be here for 23 days, so, seize the moment, yes? We decided to go to Tagaytay for this day and I just came back from the trip just now.
Let’s get it on, Mochiko!
Mochi is a Japanese delicacy which is round in shape. It is made from glutinous rice, thus its chewy consistency.

We decided to try out Mochiko, a trending dessert, in Tagaytay since we were already there. I was kind of excited since I’ve already seen this a lot of food blogs, so I wanted to see what the hype was about. I asked about their best-sellers so we ordered black sesame, green tea, chocolate and strawberry. It was P70.00 per piece and I was supposed to pay for dessert so paying for this one was okay. I even brought my Play Envelope with me!

“Good things come to those who wait.” They told us to let it thaw for about 5 minutes before biting into it so as to prevent any tooth injuries. LJ was a bit impatient but he still waited for it. After waiting, we took a bite and loved it! It was chewy and the ice creams were yummy.

My complaint was some of the parts of the mochi were too hard because they were too thick, so we had to bite harder for us to enjoy it. Maybe they can find a solution to work around this problem?
