Want to get a Qatar visa but don’t know the requirements?
From June 15 to July 07, I will be going to Qatar. 🙂 This is a wonderful opportunity for me to spend time with my lovely family, and also to conduct money management workshops to our kababayans abroad.
(Remember, though, as an OFW who wants to sign up for a life insurance policy, you can not sign the forms abroad. You have to be in the Philippines to get started! Why?)
This is the schedule of the Qatar embassy:
With that, my little brother LJ and I decided to venture to Qatar embassy to get our Qatar stamped. For everyone who’s unfamiliar with the venue, Qatar embassy is now located at Magallanes, Makati City:
Look for Magallanes Barangay Hall because that’s where you’ll wait. The Qatar embassy isn’t open until 9:00. We were there at 6:20 am and there were already a lot of people! Look for the listing paper so you can get your name registered in line.
For your reference, the embassy will only accommodate applicants from 9 am to 10:30 am so arrive early.
Good thing we brought food and drinks with us! At around 8:10 am, we fell in line and walked towards the embassy.
For the OFWs reading this, please take note of all the requirements posted. It was very disheartening when we were there because a lot of OFWs were waiting at 3:00 am already, just to find out that they have incomplete requirements!
We went there on Friday, and we’re expecting the release of our visa on Tuesday. 🙂
